Mortal Shell 2 set for release on August 20, 2026

Cold Symmetry is preparing to release Mortal Shell 2 on PC and consoles on August 20, 2026. The upcoming soulslike title introduces significant gameplay changes, most notably the total removal of the stamina bar.

Players can expect over thirty hours of gameplay featuring handcrafted dungeons, transforming weapons, and a compact open world. The game will also feature a customization system using Tar Stones.

Physical pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 version are available via Amazon. The Standard Edition is priced at 49.99 euros, while the Revered Edition is available for 69.99 euros. The latter includes physical items such as an exclusive steelbook, an artbook, art prints, and a collector's box, along with digital Obsidian & Skeletal Harbinger skins.
