Mortal Shell II features expanded gameplay and high hardware requirements

Mortal Shell II, developed by Cold Symmetry, is a Soulslike action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5. The sequel expands on the original game's themes of identity and purpose, featuring a more open world and enhanced combat systems. Players take on the role of the Harbinger, a being capable of inhabiting the bodies of fallen warriors, known as Shells, to acquire their unique abilities and fragments of their past.

Due to its use of Unreal Engine 5, the game has significant hardware requirements. Minimum specifications include an Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 6600 with 8GB of VRAM, 16GB of RAM, and 70GB of SSD storage. For a stable high-definition experience at 60fps, higher-tier components such as an RTX 5060 class GPU and an NVMe SSD are recommended to ensure frame rate stability during intense combat.
