Mortara mourns the passing of Father Gianni Camana

The community of Mortara and the Diocese of Vigevano are mourning the sudden passing of Father Giambattista ‘Gianni’ Camana, who died of natural causes at the age of 77.

A funeral service was held on Monday, August 17, at the Abbey of Santa Croce. The liturgy was presided over by the Bishop of Vigevano, Monsignor Maurizio Gervasoni, and attended by numerous clergy members, local officials including Mayor Fabio Farina, and a large crowd of citizens.
