Morten Harket announces new solo album ‘Human Grace’

Morten Harket, the frontman of the Norwegian band a-ha, has released the music video for his new single, “If I Ever See Your Face Again.” The track serves as the second precursor to his upcoming solo studio album, “Human Grace,” which is scheduled for release on November 27, 2026, via Warner Records Germany.

This marks Harket’s first solo studio album in twelve years, following 2014’s “Brother.” Described by the artist as his most personal work, “Human Grace” moves away from the stadium rock sound associated with a-ha toward an organic, intimate musical landscape featuring piano and string arrangements. The album explores themes of love, vulnerability, and responsibility.

Harket collaborated with long-time musical partner Peter Kvint for the production. The project also features guest appearances by his daughters, Tomine and Karmen Harket. Despite managing Parkinson’s disease, Harket completed the album, which he describes as a “hymn to life.”
