Mortiis to perform in Chile celebrating 25 years of The Smell of Rain

Norwegian musician Mortiis is returning to Chile for a concert on Sunday, October 18, at the RBX venue in Ñuñoa. The performance focuses on the 25th anniversary of his album ‘The Smell of Rain’ (2000), a work that marked a transition from his ambient roots toward synth rock, electro dark, and dark wave styles.

In addition to tracks from the anniversary album, the setlist will include material from his most recent release, ‘Ghosts of Europa’ (2026), which the artist describes as his most personal long-form work. The local industrial metal band Underbrain is scheduled to open the show.
