Morton signs defender Calvin Okike on loan from Hull U21

Morton has completed the signing of 18-year-old defender Calvin Okike on loan from Hull U21. The deal, finalized on 3 September 2026, will see the centre-back remain with the Scottish club until 30 June 2027.

Okike, who is eligible to represent both Nigeria and England, joins Morton following a period with Hull’s under-21 side. His recent experience includes a loan spell at Hartlepool during the 2025-26 campaign and appearances in the Premier League Cup, National League, and FA Youth Cup. He will wear the number six shirt for Morton during his tenure in Scotland.
