Mos concludes local employment and youth training programs

The municipality of Mos has concluded two significant employment initiatives aimed at improving local labor market access. The Integrated Employment Program saw 100 participants, resulting in 93 processed job offers and 31 individuals completing non-labor internships through 11 agreements. Approximately 58% of participants secured employment during the program, with notable success among individuals over 50 and people with disabilities.

Additionally, the third edition of the ‘Fórmate na Empresa’ program, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and developed by the Association of Businessmen of Mos (AEMOS), focused on youth under 30. Out of 15 participants, seven successfully entered the workforce following specialized training and internships. This initiative involved 14 collaborating companies across sectors such as metalworking and information technology to facilitate the transition from training to professional employment.
