Mos Food Services launches MOS Deli frozen food brand
Mos Food Services is expanding into the frozen food market with the launch of its new brand, MOS Deli. Scheduled to begin sales on September 1, 2026, the brand will initially be available in supermarkets and drugstores across the Tohoku, Kanto, Chubu, and Kinki regions of Japan.
The brand's debut products include two varieties of Yaki-oni Burgers—Beef Kalbi and Chicken Kinpira—which feature a combination of rice and ingredients. The company aims to grow the MOS Deli division into a major revenue stream, targeting 10 billion yen in sales by fiscal year 2035.
To support the launch, the company will host a MOS Burger Day promotion on TikTok Shop from September 1 to September 5, 2026. This event will include discounts of up to 32 percent and free sampling of new products for the first 4,000 customers. The TikTok Shop platform has already become a significant channel for the company, representing roughly 20 percent of its total online sales.
