Mos Food Services reports leak of 1.13 million Mos Card records

Mos Food Services announced on October 23 that approximately 1.13 million records related to its prepaid 'Mos Card' were leaked following unauthorized access to a system managed by its contractor, Value Design. The leaked data includes 16-digit card numbers, 6-digit PINs, and balance information.

The breach originated from unauthorized access to the 'Value Card' server operated by Value Design and its parent company, PayCloud Holdings. The total leak across the Value Card service involves 1,424,748 items, including 569,224 issued IDs and 855,524 unissued IDs.

Mos Food Services stated that personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and credit card details were not included in the leak. To prevent fraudulent use, the company is forcing PIN changes for affected cards. While in-store and online ordering remain functional, users may experience issues with web balance inquiries, new official app registrations, and guest purchases via online orders.
