Mos: Man dies after traffic dispute and fight on A-55

A man has died following a physical altercation with another driver after a traffic dispute on the A-55 highway in Mos, Pontevedra. The incident occurred around 2:00 PM on Sunday during travel in the Vigo-Tui direction.

According to initial reports, the dispute began with an incident between the two vehicles, leading both drivers to stop and engage in a physical confrontation. When the Guardia Civil arrived, they found the individuals involved, noting that one person had visible injuries to the face and head. One man collapsed while officers were identifying the parties and gathering witness statements. Although emergency services transported him to a hospital alive, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary hypotheses suggest that blows to the head may be the cause of death, though an autopsy is required to confirm the exact circumstances. The Guardia Civil is currently working to reconstruct the events, reviewing local camera footage and seeking additional witnesses to determine exactly how the fight began and progressed.
