Mosap organizes protest in Brasília over retiree pension contributions

During the 20th National Meeting of Retirees and Pensioners held at the Chamber of Deputies, the Mosap Institute organized a protest demanding the end of social security contributions for retired public servants. Participants used the slogan “Chega de confisco!” (Enough confiscation!) to advocate for the voting of PEC 6/2024 and its attachment to PEC 555/2006.

Representatives from ANFIP Nacional joined the mobilization, which included union leaders and public servants from various regions. Mosap president Edison Guilherme Haubert called on Chamber of Deputies President Hugo Motta to approve the requests to advance the legislative process. The event concluded with a march from the Chamber of Deputies to the Palácio do Planalto, supported by a letter signed by over 110 representative entities.
