Moscow targeted by massive drone attacks for second consecutive night

Moscow has faced a massive wave of kamikaze drone attacks for the second consecutive night. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that Russian air defense systems intercepted more than 20 drones targeting the capital. The aerial threat led to temporary security restrictions at several Russian airports, including Yaroslavl, following recommendations from the federal aviation authority, Rosaviatsia.

Simultaneously, Russian drone strikes targeted Zaporizhzhia, resulting in at least one death and six injuries. The strikes damaged residential and non-residential buildings, causing fires in the regional capital.

Regarding the conflict's political landscape, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov stated that Russia's position excludes halting combat along the current front lines. Moscow maintains that negotiations can only begin after the Russian military gains control over the entire Donbas region.
