Moselle health authorities prioritize preventive care

In the Moselle region of France, health authorities are prioritizing preventive care to address challenges in medical access, an aging population, and the rise of chronic diseases. The Regional Health Agency (ARS) is expanding preventive measures through local health contracts, which currently cover more than 85% of the Moselle population.

Local initiatives include the Sarreguemines agglomeration community, which has implemented programs such as ‘Goûter mon territoire’ to promote healthy eating and physical activity among primary and middle school students. Other regional actors, such as the CPTS, are also focusing on prevention through targeted campaigns, including colorectal cancer awareness.
