Moses Lake Domestic Violence Cases: Woman Runs Over Attacker, Man Accused of $40K Theft

On July 24, a woman in Moses Lake attempted to leave a violent argument when a 31‑year‑old man followed her, smashed the driver’s side window and stepped toward her car. As she backed up, she drove over his leg and foot, causing significant trauma. The man was taken to hospital and later booked on malicious mischief third degree and domestic‑violence charges; the woman remained at the scene, called 9‑1‑1 and received domestic‑violence services.

In a separate incident earlier in July, Moses Lake police arrested a man from nearby Colville after a woman staying at a motel reported that he stole more than $40,000 in cash she was carrying as life savings while she was fleeing a dangerous domestic situation. The suspect was apprehended with the money bag, although some cash was missing, and now faces multiple criminal charges.
