Mosimann to miss Star Academy prime due to Paris concert

Mosimann, the new director of the Star Academy, will be absent from the show's second prime time broadcast on Saturday, October 17. The Franco-Swiss DJ and musician is scheduled to launch his ‘Dream Tour’ at the Zénith de Paris on the same date.

To compensate for his absence, the production will feature five guest stars, including the Franco-Haitian singer Naïka. TF1 programming director Rémi Faure noted that one of the guests will be a major international artist. Although Mosimann will not be on stage during the live broadcast, he has confirmed he will be present for the rehearsals from beginning to end and stated this would be the only prime time episode of the season he misses.
