Mosina roundabout construction tender announced

The Wielkopolski Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich (WZDW) has announced a tender for the construction of a new roundabout in Mosina. The project is located at the intersection of provincial roads DW 430 (Poznań-Mosina) and DW 431 (Mosina-Kórnik), specifically at the junction of Mocka and Szosa Poznańska streets.

This investment represents the first stage of expanding the intersection and is part of a long-term modernization program for road DW 431. Previous works in the region include the reconstruction of the Mosina-Rogalinek section, improvements in Mieczew, and the completion of a new bridge over the Warta river in Rogalinko in 2022.

Local officials have noted that while the new roundabout is a vital communication element, the construction will cause significant traffic disruptions. The Mosina municipality is collaborating with the WZDW to develop traffic management plans, alternative routes, and phased construction schedules to minimize the impact on residents and drivers. Interested companies have until September 7 to submit bids.
