MOSiR Elbląg summer program attracts 15,000 participants

The Municipal Sports and Recreation Center (MOSiR) in Elbląg has concluded its summer program, which featured 35 free events and attractions. Nearly 15,000 people participated in the activities over a two-month period.

The program included a variety of sporting competitions such as dragon boat racing, a water sports festival, a mini Olympics, swimming competitions, duathlons, and tournaments in 3x3 basketball, football, beach volleyball, and table tennis. Recreational activities also featured cycling tours, kayaking, rollerblading, and scootering.

In addition to sports, the program offered city games focused on the history of the Elbląg Old Town and night skating sessions at Kalbar. Natalia Szrama, deputy director of MOSiR Elbląg, noted that despite unfavorable weather, interest remained high, and the organization is already planning for next year.
