Mossad reportedly planned 'Puss in Boots' operation to overthrow Iran

Reports from Israeli media, including Channel 13 and Haaretz, have detailed a Mossad operation codenamed 'Puss in Boots' aimed at facilitating regime change in Iran. The strategy reportedly involved supporting Kurdish armed groups to cross the Iraq-Iran border and spark widespread domestic unrest.

The plan envisioned using Israeli airstrikes to clear a corridor for Kurdish fighters, with some reports suggesting the mobilization of up to 16,000 militants. Thousands of Kurdish fighters have allegedly already undergone training in Israel for these potential operations.

Additionally, intelligence efforts reportedly included a project to recruit former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for a potential future leadership role in a post-regime Iran. Ahmadinejad's office has dismissed these claims as psychological warfare and misinformation intended to incite public unrest.
