Mossel Bay regional court to hear animal abuse case
A 22-year-old man accused of raping a male dog named Caesar in June has had his case postponed in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court. The matter is now scheduled to be heard in the Mossel Bay Regional Court on 29 September.
The postponement was granted to allow for the collection of forensic evidence and outstanding statements. Members of the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch and various supporters gathered outside the court to advocate against animal abuse, with some displaying banners calling for justice for the animal.
