The Most political party in Primorsko-Goranska County has launched a three-week petition demanding the termination of the concession agreement with Costabella d. o. o., the company managing the Hilton hotel beach in Rijeka.

During a press conference in Rijeka, MP Marin Miletić and Petra Mandić alleged that the company is illegally charging citizens for access to the sandy beach and restricting movement through fencing. Miletić stated that the party possesses evidence, including invoices and video recordings, to support these claims of illegal access restrictions.

The petition calls for the immediate termination of the current contract and a rapid revision of all existing beach concession agreements in the county to ensure free and unhindered access to the maritime domain. Miletić also criticized high-ranking officials, including Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and State Attorney Ivan Turudić, accusing them of protecting political and economic elites at the expense of public rights.
