Mostar firefighters respond to severe accident involving fire engine and motorcycle

The Professional Firefighting Unit (PVP) Mostar has issued an emotional statement following a severe traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a fire engine on the road toward Goranci. The collision resulted in a fire that engulfed both vehicles.

A 38-year-old male motorcyclist, identified by the initials A. K., sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to the University Clinical Hospital Mostar for treatment. While the injuries are significant, reports indicate that his life is not in immediate danger.

The firefighting unit described the incident as an unprecedented event for the department. They expressed solidarity with the firefighter who was operating the vehicle and was the first to provide aid to the injured motorcyclist, stating, “With you we breathe, with you we hope, with you we suffer.”
