Mostar school opens first canteen in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton

The Mujaga Komadina Elementary School in Mostar has opened the first school canteen in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. The facility was developed over the past year with financial support from the City of Mostar.

School principal Semir Šejtanić stated that the canteen aims to promote healthy eating habits among students by providing a modern space for nutritious meals. The canteen will employ a professional cook to prepare three different daily menus, including protein sources like eggs. To prioritize student health, the facility will offer water instead of carbonated drinks.

Following the start of the school year, the school plans to conduct surveys with students and parents to gather feedback on the canteen's operations.
