Regional cultural festivals launch in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Various cultural events and festivals are taking place across the region. In Benkovac, Croatia, the tenth edition of the ‘Nosi se’ theatre festival, produced by Teatro VeRRdi, is being held despite previous controversies involving threats from veterans' associations.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the National Theatre Sarajevo has launched the fifth edition of its ‘Kultura na ulice!’ program with an outdoor concert by CordAria Duo at Hero Square. Additionally, the 51st Mostar Theatre Festival is opening at the Mostar Puppet Theatre, featuring the play ‘Mahalokalipsa’ and presenting awards for artistic courage and the ‘Light of Mostar’.

In Zadar, Croatia, the KvartArt festival concluded with a total expenditure of over 112,000 euros, funded by the Zadar Concert Office and municipal departments to provide free programming for the community.
