Mostar to host 107th Šantić's Poetry Evenings

The 107th Šantić's Poetry Evenings international cultural manifestation will take place in Mostar from September 27 to October 5. Organized by the Serbian Educational and Cultural Society ‘Prosvjeta’ and the Serbian Singing and Cultural-Artistic Society ‘Gusle’, the event will feature poets, writers, scientists, and various performing artists.

A central focus of this year's program is the celebration of the 130th anniversary of the literary magazine ‘Zora’, a significant publication in Serbian literature and culture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The anniversary will be marked by an exhibition and the presentation of a special edition of the magazine.

The program includes a memorial service at the Bjelušine Orthodox Cemetery, musical performances by the New Era Quartet from Trieste and Dario Lukić, and the presentation of the ‘Book about Šantić’. Additionally, the National Theatre of Republika Srpska will perform the play ‘Ožalošćena porodica’.
