Mostaza to open new location in Villa Devoto

The fast-food chain Mostaza has signed a lease agreement to open a new location in Villa Devoto, Argentina. The restaurant will occupy the corner of Fernández de Enciso and Nueva York, the site of the former Monte Olivia ice cream parlor.

While the property owner confirmed the deal is moving forward, the project faces administrative scrutiny due to its location within the Plaza Arenales-Estación Devoto Historical Protection Area. Local authorities have reportedly raised objections regarding land use regulations and heritage protection.

Mostaza, a national company founded in 1998, currently operates over 217 locations and plans to invest $40 million to open 30 new branches this year.
