Mosun Filani denies marriage rumors and explains acting hiatus

Nollywood actress Mosun Filani has addressed long-standing rumors regarding her personal life and her hiatus from the film industry. In an interview with BBC Yoruba, Filani denied claims that she is her husband’s second wife. While she acknowledged that her husband may have been married previously, she clarified that she did not encounter another woman living in his home at the time of their marriage.

Filani also explained that her decision to step away from acting was driven by a desire to prioritize her family and raise her children. She noted that the demands of her career often required extended periods away from home. Now that her children are grown and independent, she expressed her readiness to return to the acting profession.
