Mother After Dark returns to Electric Picnic with largest queer lineup

Mother After Dark, Ireland’s leading LGBTQ+ club night, will stage its biggest queer line‑up yet at Electric Picnic’s late‑night woodland venue in Stradbally. The event runs from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (August 28‑30), offering three nights of music, drag, dance and live performance.

Resident DJs Rocky T. Delgado, Ruth Kavanagh and Ghostboy will headline, joined by guest DJs Kelly‑Anne Byrne, Glamo and Shrem. The programme also includes a roster of performers such as Abrakedavre, ADW, Annie Queeries, Blaq Coffee, Blue Flame, Butch Chastity, Cornflake Girl, Crimson leCreme, Diablo, GayDHD, Haus of WIG, Naomi Diamond, Queenn Marie, Richard Joke, Scarlett Van Tassel, Shaqira Knightly, Terri Fierce, The Mother Dancers, Tony & Toni, Tricksy Nixx and Vicky Volltz.

Since its launch in Dublin in 2010, Mother After Dark has grown from a community club night to a permanent fixture on Ireland’s festival calendar, receiving its own dedicated late‑night space at Electric Picnic in 2022. This year’s edition marks the most ambitious production to date, highlighting the event’s role in celebrating queer culture and inclusive nightlife.
