Mother Parkers Opens Coffee Extract Facility in Mississauga, Ontario
Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee has launched a new Complete Extract Solutions plant in Mississauga, Ontario. The purpose‑built 320,000‑square‑foot operation adds coffee extract production to the company’s multi‑year, multi‑million‑dollar investment plan and is designed to supply commercial‑volume cold coffee and liquid coffee extract products to foodservice, retail, private‑label and industrial customers across Canada and the United States. The move comes as cold coffee gains market share; Circana data show it accounted for nearly a quarter of Canadian quick‑service coffee servings in 2025, with over half of 18‑ to‑24‑year‑old consumers choosing cold options. Technomic projects a 6.2% annual growth in U.S. cold coffee volume from 2025‑2030. “Complete Extract Solutions is an important milestone…customers need practical, scalable ways to bring cold coffee and coffee extract solutions to market,” said Danielle Barran, President and CEO. Ontario Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness Trevor Jones said the facility reinforces Ontario’s position as Canada’s leading food‑and‑beverage manufacturing jurisdiction.
