Mother Teresa’s legacy serves as a call for Albanian unity

On the occasion of Mother Teresa’s birthday and the tenth anniversary of her canonization, Professor Skender Asani has issued a message calling for unity among Albanians. He describes Mother Teresa’s legacy as a moral testament, suggesting that her ability to transform a personal journey into a universal mission of compassion serves as a model for addressing current political and social divisions.

Asani emphasizes that her philosophy—prioritizing humanity over conflict and dialogue over confrontation—is particularly relevant in the face of contemporary internal tensions and political rivalries within Albanian-speaking territories.
