Motidunagri Ganesh Temple sees massive crowds for Ganesh Chaturthi

Massive crowds gathered at the Motidunagri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. The festivities saw an extraordinary demand for henna, with approximately 3,500 kilograms exhausted within just three hours. Devotees traveled from various cities, including Delhi and Chandigarh, to participate in the rituals.

The celebrations included special prayers and elaborate decorations. At the Motidunagri temple, the deity was adorned with a gold crown, silver dhoti, and jewel-encrusted clothing from Kolkata. To manage the influx of pilgrims, temple authorities deployed 500 volunteers and provided e-rickshaws and floor buses for elderly and disabled visitors. The heavy crowds caused significant traffic congestion on surrounding roads, requiring intervention from local police to manage vehicle movement.
