Motihari police investigate woman's death following child's allegation

Police in Motihari are investigating the death of 25-year-old Rinku Devi after her five-year-old son provided a statement alleging foul play. The child claimed that an individual named Bhola strangled his mother and subsequently hung her from a ceiling fan using a rope and a chair.

The incident occurred in Rajpur Nawada village within the Pakridayal police station area. Rinku Devi's father reported that upon arriving at her in-laws' home, he found no one present and was informed the body had already been taken for cremation. Authorities have recovered the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination to verify the cause of death and the validity of the child's allegations.
