Motionless In White members investigate Ohio State Reformatory

Guitarist Ricky Olson and drummer Vinny Mauro of the band Motionless In White participated in the season four premiere of the series ‘Paranormal Prison’. The investigation took place at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, during the 2026 Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival.

Led by hosts Josh Bernstein and Katrina Weidman, the group utilized specialized equipment, including a spirit box designed to capture potential spiritual interference via radio waves. During the exploration of a decaying section of the prison, the team recorded several phrases, such as ‘relationship’, ‘stay in the next room’, and ‘Oh, they’re coming’.

While drummer Vinny Mauro maintained a skeptical stance, he appeared unsettled by the findings. Olson, who shared a childhood experience involving a paranormal encounter, noted that he has frequently used spirit boxes in his own private investigations.
