Motley Crue performs high-energy reunion set in Akron

Motley Crue delivered a high-energy 17-song performance at the Blossom Music Center in Akron, Ohio. The concert, part of their ongoing reunion era, featured a setlist of early '80s favorites, including “Shout at the Devil,” “Red Hot,” and “Too Young to Fall in Love.”

The set included a transition into ballads such as “Afraid” and “Home Sweet Home,” before concluding with a high-intensity run featuring “Dr. Feelgood” and “Kickstart My Heart.”

Performers noted include Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, who provided a heavy rhythm section. Guitarist John 5 performed interpretations of Mick Mars’ work and included a solo segment featuring parts of “Whole Lotta Love.” Vocalist Vince Neil was noted for delivering one of his most consistent vocal performances in recent years.
