Moto Guzzi inaugurates new factory and museum in Mandello del Lario

Moto Guzzi has celebrated its 105th anniversary with the inauguration of a renovated industrial complex and a new museum in Mandello del Lario. The project, which involved an investment of over 50 million euros and five years of construction, was designed by American architect Greg Lynn. The new site integrates modern production lines with public spaces, including a 3,000-square-meter museum housing a collection of 160 historic motorcycles.

The celebration, known as the Moto Guzzi World Days, attracted more than 60,000 enthusiasts from around the world. Key events included a parade of 1,500 motorcycles from Lecco to Mandello, led by the Corazzieri, the Italian Republic’s Honour Guard. The festivities also featured participation from the Aprilia Racing MotoGP team, including riders Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martín, and legend Max Biaggi.

The renovated facility aims to serve as a multifunctional hub where industrial innovation meets cultural heritage. While the project modernizes production capabilities, it maintains the brand’s historical presence in Mandello del Lario, connecting the company’s legacy with its future technological goals.
