Moto Guzzi opens new factory and museum in Mandello del Lario

Moto Guzzi has inaugurated its new industrial, museum, and cultural hub in Mandello del Lario, marking the brand’s 105th anniversary. Following nearly five years of work and an investment exceeding €50 million, the project transforms the company’s historic site on the shores of Lake Como into a state-of-the-art facility.

Designed by American architect Greg Lynn, the complex includes a modernized factory and a new 3,000-square-meter museum housing over 160 motorcycles. The production facility features advanced automation, including robotized conveyor systems and Kilo ground drones developed by Piaggio Fast Forward to assist in final testing. The new plant is designed with a focus on sustainability, utilizing 1,300 square meters of photovoltaic panels and adhering to Class A standards, with a potential annual output of over 30,000 vehicles.

To celebrate the milestone, the company launched the ‘105th Anniversary’ special edition series. Available from October through 2027, these models—including the Stelvio, V100 Mandello, V85 Strada, and V7 Stone—feature a pearlescent grey livery with yellow accents inspired by the new facility’s architecture.
