Moto Guzzi unveils The Trip 500 roadster

Moto Guzzi has officially introduced The Trip, a new middleweight roadster designed for the 500-class market. This model represents a significant technical departure for the brand, as it utilizes a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine instead of the manufacturer's traditional longitudinal V-twin layout. The engine is expected to be based on the Aprilia 457 platform from the Piaggio Group and is reportedly manufactured at the Baramati facility in India.

The motorcycle produces approximately 48 hp and has a running weight of 180 kg. It features a 790 mm seat height and a 15-litre fuel tank. Design elements include a sculpted metal fuel tank, a round LED headlamp, and gold-finished USD front forks. Technology features include a 3.6-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, ride-by-wire throttle, and three riding modes: Road, Sport, and Rain.

Targeting A2 license holders, returning riders, and commuters, The Trip is expected to be available at dealerships in early 2027, with an expected price of around 6,000 euros. The model will be showcased at the EICMA show in Milan.
