MotoAmerica Mid-Ohio Superbike Wins: Kelly and Scholtz
At the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, MotoAmerica Quad Lock Superbike Race 1 on Saturday saw Sean Dylan Kelly on an OrangeCat Racing BMW claim his third victory of the 2026 season, edging teammate Bobby Fong and taking the podium after a tightly contested race that featured multiple lead changes.
Sunday’s Race 2 was marked by two red‑flag stoppages. Pole‑sitter Benjamin Smith crashed early, prompting a restart. Mathew Scholtz on a Strack Racing Yamaha then held off Kelly, winning by 0.177 seconds. Bobby Fong finished third.
