Motocross of Nations 2026: Team Canada confirmed as Yamaha withdraws

Roster updates and team withdrawals have emerged ahead of the 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, scheduled for October 2–4.

Team Canada has confirmed its lineup, consisting of Dylan Wright, Dylan Rempel, and Sebastien Racine. Wright and Rempel join the team following their recent Canadian Triple Crown Pro National Championship titles. Wright, a five-time Canadian 450 champion, expressed a desire for redemption following his previous appearance at the Ernée event.

In contrast, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing and Yamaha Motor USA have announced their withdrawal from the event. The decision to pull both the 250 and 450 teams was attributed to the demanding SMX series schedule and the high costs associated with travel and support. Consequently, star riders Haiden Deegan and Justin Cooper will not compete for Team USA on Yamaha machinery, leaving the American roster subject to further changes.
