Motocross riders Sebastien Racine and Maxime Renaux sidelined by injuries
Several professional motocross riders are sidelined due to injuries during the 2026 season.
Sebastien Racine will not represent Team Canada at the upcoming 2026 Motocross of Nations. Following an injury sustained during the Triple Crown season, Racine's recovery is taking longer than medical teams initially estimated. Team Canada and Racine have mutually decided he will focus on a complete recovery rather than competing.
Maxime Renaux will miss the remainder of the 2026 MXGP season. After sustaining a rib injury at the MXGP of Sweden, the injury was further aggravated during a crash at the MXGP of The Netherlands. Yamaha confirmed that Renaux will sit out the final three rounds of the championship to focus on recovery.
