MotoGP Dutch Grand Prix lifts Jorge Martín to championship lead

Spanish rider Jorge Martín surged to the top of the MotoGP 2026 world standings after a third‑place finish at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen. The podium spot gave him 193 points, ahead of Italy's Marco Bezzecchi (186) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (177), with ten of the scheduled twenty‑one races completed.

In a separate interview, three‑time MotoGP champion Marc Márquez said he has never lived in Andorra and therefore does not pay taxes there. He argued that those with greater wealth have a civic duty to contribute more, and he praised doctors as true role models, emphasizing that money would not change his lifestyle.
