MotoGP leader Marco Bezzecchi was disqualified from the sprint race at the Czech Republic Grand Prix after he pushed and struck a marshal following a crash. He issued an apology, saying, “I am very sorry for what I did. It was a big mistake and I regret it.” Bezzecchi added that the incident is a chance for him to “improve as a person.”

He highlighted that the season has been strong so far, noted upcoming races at Sachsenring before the summer break, and expressed optimism about the team’s performance. He also welcomed Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia’s move to Aprilia for the next season and praised his relationship with fellow rider Jorge Martin.

The statements were made in an interview with Sky Sport from Assen, Italy.
