MotoGP riders Bagnaia and Razgatlioglu face professional challenges

MotoGP riders are facing significant psychological and competitive challenges as the 2026 season enters its final stages. Francesco Bagnaia, riding for the Ducati Lenovo Team, has sought advice from Dani Pedrosa following a series of three consecutive crashes. Pedrosa suggested that Bagnaia focus entirely on the act of riding rather than obsessing over race results to regain his connection with the Ducati.

Meanwhile, three-time Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu is struggling through a difficult rookie season in MotoGP with the Pramac Yamaha team. Having earned only 18 championship points across 15 race weekends, Razgatlioglu compared his current lack of motivation to his 2018 rookie season in Superbike, a period so challenging he considered retiring from racing. His best result in the current campaign has been an eleventh-place finish at Balaton Park.

Additionally, Fabio Quartararo has voiced criticism regarding the lack of rider input concerning the 2027 MotoGP plans, specifically regarding the number of sprint races.
