Motohiro Hata to release first tribute album for 20th anniversary

Japanese singer Motohiro Hata will release his first tribute album, ‘Hata Motohiro wo Utau -Hata Motohiro Tribute-’, on November 4, 2025, to commemorate his 20th debut anniversary in November 2026.

The album features 10 different artists, each interpreting Hata’s songs through their own vocal styles. The project follows a concept of selecting artists with ‘wonderful voices.’

Recent artist announcements include TOMOO, who will cover the song ‘Ai’. TOMOO noted her long-standing admiration for Hata’s music since her middle school years. Aina The End is also participating, performing a cover of ‘Girl’. Aina The End expressed her deep respect for Hata’s artistry and shared that she had once even written a song about her desire to join his management agency, Office Augusta, when she was 18.

Other participating artists mentioned include Superfly and Ryokuoushoku Shakai.
