Motor City Machine Guns debut in AEW on Collision Detroit

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, known as the Motor City Machine Guns, were released from WWE after the post‑WrestleMania 42 roster cuts and saw their 90‑day non‑compete clause expire. They signed full‑time contracts with All Elite Wrestling and made their AEW debut on the Collision episode broadcast from Detroit, opening the show and later assisting the Bang Bang Gang against the Death Riders.

The arrival was met with a thunderous welcome from the locker room, with fellow talent praising the duo as a major boost for AEW’s tag‑team division. Sabin posted on social media, calling the night “one of my favorite moments of my career.” The debut reshapes AEW’s tag‑team landscape as the promotion looks to further strengthen its roster.
