Motor Lublin secures Rony Lopes and retains Mbaye Ndiaye

Motor Lublin has secured significant squad reinforcements through both new signings and player retention. The club signed former Portugal international Rony Lopes on a contract running until June 30, 2028. Lopes, who previously played for Manchester City, AS Monaco, and Sevilla, joined as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with CD Tondela.

In addition to the new signing, the club successfully retained winger Mbaye Ndiaye. Ndiaye, who scored in Motor Lublin's recent 3-0 victory over Legia Warszawa in the Polish Cup, had his future uncertain due to potential transfer interest. Coach Mariusz Misiura credited the club's leadership for convincing the Senegalese player to stay, with Ndiaye now committed to the team until June 2028.
