Motorcycle accident in Sicily kills 50-year-old woman

A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on the Provincial Road 34, which connects Piana degli Albanesi and San Giuseppe Jato in the province of Palermo, Sicily. The victim has been identified as 50-year-old Nadia Di Matteo.

The incident occurred when the motorcycle reportedly went off the road for reasons still under investigation. Despite the intervention of emergency medical services, the woman could not be saved.

Authorities, including the Carabinieri and medical personnel, attended the scene to conduct investigations and secure the area. The road was temporarily closed in both directions to allow for these procedures, causing significant traffic disruptions in the region.
