Motorcycle accidents kill two men in Malaysia
A 46‑year‑old man, Zahidan Nor of Kampung Cherating, died after his motorcycle plunged into a roughly 20‑metre‑deep gorge near ASPA Cottage in Pahang. Rescue crews used high‑rope techniques to reach the victim, who was found unconscious with injuries to his legs and hands. His death was confirmed by the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
Separately, 56‑year‑old burger vendor Abdul Hisham Ismail collapsed after falling from his motorcycle in the parking area of Masjid Al‑Huda in Kulim, Kedah. CCTV footage showed the incident, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy indicated a sudden death, with a background of an untreated heart condition.
Both incidents underscore the dangers of riding motorcycles on Malaysian roads.
