Dominik Kubera crashes at Polish Speedway Grand Prix in Łódź
During the tenth heat of the Polish Speedway Grand Prix at the Moto Arena in Łódź, Polish rider Dominik Kubera collided with fellow competitor Kacper Woryna. The contact caused Kubera to lose control, hit an inflatable safety barrier and fall onto the track. He quickly got up on his own, returned to the pits and continued racing, later confirming he was unharmed. In a post‑race interview Kubera said, “It was not a speedway incident, there was no place, Kacper forced his way and knocked me out,” and expressed frustration with Woryna’s aggressive riding. Woryna’s maneuver sparked criticism on social media, with mechanic Dariusz Sajdak commenting that “he smells of gypsum badly.” Kubera finished the event in 14th place with 31 points, while the incident led to broader discussion about rider safety and conduct in the sport.
