Motorcycle Fatalities Reported in Nuevo León and Morelos, Mexico
A young motorcyclist died after crashing into a protective barrier on Miguel de la Madrid Boulevard in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, early Saturday. Emergency crews reported the rider lost control on a curve, was thrown onto the central median and the motorcycle continued down the road before stopping.
Separately, a motorcyclist riding on the Mexico‑Oaxaca highway near the Los Papayos bridge between Cuautla and Ayala, Morelos, lost control at night, fell about 50 metres into a deep ravine and was pronounced dead after rescue teams recovered the body.
Both incidents prompted emergency response, forensic investigation and highlight the dangers of high‑speed motorcycle travel on Mexican roads.
