Motorcycle festivals in Rio de Janeiro and Rondonópolis to draw large crowds

Brazil is hosting two significant motorcycle festivals that are expected to draw large crowds and stimulate local economies.

The 14th edition of Festival Moto Brasil is scheduled for October 16–18, 2026, at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro. Organizers anticipate over 50,000 visitors. The event will feature motorcycle exhibitions, test rides, musical performances, and extreme displays such as 'Globo da Morte' and wheeling. A drone show is also planned for the closing day.

In Rondonópolis, the 10th Caveiras Moto Festival will take place on September 4–6 at Parque Encontro das Águas. Organized by Instituto Brasil, the event features musical acts including Supla, RPM, and Rodox. The festival is expected to boost the local economy by benefiting the hospitality, restaurant, fuel, and automotive service sectors, while providing direct employment for over 150 people during the event's setup and operation.
